Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

Last updated: 25 August 2026

Our commitment

DabApps Ltd is committed to conducting business responsibly and ethically. We do not tolerate modern slavery, human trafficking, forced or compulsory labour, servitude, debt bondage or the exploitation of children within our business or our supply chain.

We publish this statement to set out our approach to identifying and managing the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking.

This statement is made with reference to the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and associated UK Government guidance.

About DabApps

DabApps Ltd is a UK-based digital product and software development company.

We design, build and support web applications, mobile applications, digital platforms and AI-enabled software for organisations in the UK and internationally.

DabApps Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 07391901, with its registered office at:

Our business and supply chain

As a professional technology services business, the majority of our work is carried out by skilled technology, product, design and business professionals.

Our supply chain primarily consists of providers of:

  • cloud hosting and technology infrastructure;
  • software and software-as-a-service products;
  • professional and consultancy services;
  • recruitment and employment-related services;
  • office, facilities and business services;
  • computer equipment and other technology hardware; and
  • other services required to operate our business.

The nature of our directly employed workforce means that we consider the risk of modern slavery occurring within DabApps' own operations to be relatively low.

We recognise, however, that modern slavery risks can occur within extended global supply chains, including in sectors associated with technology hardware manufacturing, facilities services, temporary labour and some internationally sourced services. We therefore do not regard the absence of obvious risk as a reason for complacency.

Our principles

We expect everyone working for or with DabApps to be treated fairly, with dignity and respect.

We do not knowingly engage with organisations that use forced, trafficked or exploitative labour.

We expect suppliers and business partners to:

  • comply with applicable employment, labour and human rights laws;
  • prohibit forced, bonded, compulsory and trafficked labour;
  • not retain workers' identity documents or restrict their freedom of movement unlawfully;
  • ensure that work is undertaken voluntarily;
  • comply with applicable minimum-age and child-labour legislation;
  • provide lawful wages, working arrangements and employment conditions; and
  • take reasonable steps to address modern slavery risks within their own operations and supply chains.

Recruitment and employment

DabApps seeks to maintain fair and transparent employment practices.

Recruitment decisions are based on appropriate skills, experience and suitability for the role. We expect recruitment agencies and other organisations involved in supplying workers to operate legally and ethically and not to charge workers unlawful recruitment fees or use coercive recruitment practices.

We comply with applicable UK employment and right-to-work requirements.

Employees are free to leave their employment subject to the terms of their employment contracts and applicable law.

Supplier risk and due diligence

Our approach is proportionate to the nature and level of risk associated with a supplier or service.

When selecting or reviewing suppliers, we may consider factors including:

  • the nature of the goods or services being supplied;
  • countries and regions in which relevant activities take place;
  • reliance on low-paid, temporary, migrant or outsourced labour;
  • complexity and visibility of the supplier's own supply chain;
  • the supplier's employment and human-rights practices; and
  • any known concerns relating to modern slavery, trafficking or labour exploitation.

Where a supplier presents a higher potential risk, we may seek additional information or assurances before entering into or continuing the relationship.

If we become aware of credible concerns involving a supplier, we will consider the circumstances and appropriate action. This may include seeking further information, requiring remedial action, working with the supplier to resolve concerns or, where appropriate, reconsidering the business relationship.

Our priority in responding to any suspected instance of modern slavery will include consideration of the safety and welfare of potentially affected individuals.

Raising concerns

Employees, contractors, suppliers and other people working with DabApps are encouraged to raise concerns about suspected unethical, illegal or exploitative behaviour.

Concerns may be raised with a DabApps director or through the normal internal reporting channels.

Anyone raising a genuine concern in good faith should be able to do so without fear of retaliation.

Where appropriate, DabApps will investigate concerns and may seek specialist advice or report suspected criminal conduct to the relevant authorities.

Awareness and responsibility

Responsibility for our approach to modern slavery ultimately sits with the directors of DabApps Ltd.

We aim to ensure that people involved in relevant recruitment, management and purchasing decisions understand the importance of identifying and escalating potential modern slavery concerns.

Given the nature and current risk profile of our business, we take a proportionate approach to formal training. We will review whether additional training or guidance is appropriate if our workforce, supplier base, geographic reach or risk profile changes.

Monitoring our approach

We will keep our approach to modern slavery under review.

In assessing its effectiveness, we will consider matters including:

  • any modern slavery concerns raised or identified;
  • any significant changes to our business or supplier profile;
  • findings arising from supplier reviews or due diligence;
  • changes in relevant legislation and government guidance; and
  • whether additional controls, supplier requirements or staff awareness measures are appropriate.

Where weaknesses are identified, we will seek to improve our processes proportionately.

Review of this statement

This statement will be reviewed at least annually and updated where there are material changes to our business, supply chains, risk profile or applicable legal requirements.
